What can stop Russian Dating Scams? Unfortunately it’s a vicious circle. The more men send cash the more people will be prepared to pull scams. Even if you have complete faith in your fiancée, and even if that faith is well placed and she is not out to manipulate you, don’t send her cash. If you send cash, someone somewhere will do the same and be ripped off. That’s how it works. There are at least as many bad people as there are good in this world.

Lovers Planet study of Russian Brides phenomenon
Loversplanet.com have conducted multiple interviews with a number of Russian women and American men who are either seeking or have already found fiancées. Their objective was to learn about the experience of both Russian brides and their admirers and to learn about their respective perceptions of each other.

A surprising number of American men do want families, however. And the women they meet tend to be unsuitable for this commitment because they are focused upon their careers. As Russian women complain about Russian men, American men are not unknown to complain about American women; often the complaints are that they are hypercritical and demanding. The underlying problem is clearly incompatibility; typical American men and women have different values and goals. Not only does this explain why American men might turn to Russia for love, it also explains why the divorce rate in the US is around 50% - 1 in 2 American marriages end in divorce.
